About Chris Eni Famewo Foundation

Helping Each Other can Make The World Better

The Foundation was launched in 2001 and officially registered on the 21st of December, 2010, through the life of his servant, Prof. Chris E. Famewo, in harmony with him as Wife, it is my passion to 'care' and 'serve' fellow human beings. This gives me joy, satisfaction and fulfilment. We regard this Organization as a divine call by our Creator, to come and serve others. We are determined to serve our God faithfully while selflessly, contributing towards improving the life of others and the World at large!

Our Mission

We are dedicated to promoting positive transformation in people’s lives by providing the guidance, resources, and opportunities they need to define and achieve their most meaningful goals. Through targeted empowerment programs, strategic partnerships, and community-driven initiatives, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and support systems necessary to turn aspirations into lasting realities.

All of our activities are purposefully designed to advance the well-being of individuals and communities, ensuring that every initiative contributes to lasting social uplift.

Our Services

Family Empowerment Services

Our family empowerment initiatives offer tailored counselling and support designed to strengthen bonds and foster healthy communication within households. Licensed professionals guide parents and children through conflict resolution techniques, stress management strategies, and resource navigation for legal, healthcare, and social welfare needs. By creating a safe, confidential space for families to explore challenges together, we help build resilient homes that thrive in the face of social and economic pressures.

Youth Integrated Development Services

The Foundation’s youth programs blend academic enrichment, vocational and life-skills coaching, and creative exploration to spark curiosity and confidence. Participants engage in Arts Workshops, and Entrepreneurship Bootcamps that teach critical thinking and problem solving. Paired with mentors and given access to internship placements, young people learn to translate their talents into real-world opportunities, positioning them as tomorrow’s community leaders.

Leadership and Knowledge Development

We invest in the next generation of changemakers by offering executive training and annual symposiums on social innovation. Emerging leaders gain hands-on experience in project design, data-driven decision making, and policy advocacy. Through published toolkits and webinars, we empower individuals and organizations to implement effective development strategies wherever they work.

Community-led Poverty Alleviation

Our approach to poverty reduction centers on locally driven solutions that combine micro-enterprise incubation with financial inclusion initiatives. Aspiring entrepreneurs receive seed grants, business coaching, and access to community savings groups to turn ideas into sustainable ventures. When creative problem-solving meets collective action, entire neighborhoods gain the economic stability and opportunity they need to flourish.

Gender-Responsive Capacity Building

Equity lies at the heart of our gender-sensitive programs, which range from vocational training for women to awareness campaigns addressing gender-based violence. We create women’s empowerment hubs where participants receive mentorship, digital skills training, and legal education. By fostering safe-space dialogues and targeted advocacy, we work to dismantle systemic barriers and ensure everyone in the community can contribute and benefit equally.
